We have two divisions within our company
- the first being Event Sound Hire and Services, the second being The Barry Music
Shop.
The Event Sound Hire Division is the longest established part of our business which has
been operating for over 35 years which means that we have extensive knowledge and a huge track record of working with all
types of Events both indoors and outdoors. You will see from other pages in this website all the services and equipment that
we are able to supply, and unlike a lot of other companies that hire equipment - we actually own all the equipment that we
advertise for hire - whereas a lot of other companies advertise extensive lists of equipment, but they do not own it themselves
- they have to sub-hire it in, which you then pay both for the equipment and their administration charge to source this equipment!
This can certainly increase costs.
We work very closely with Major Event Organisers, Government Departments, Local Authorities, Production Companies
and anyone who decides to organise or run an event. We are very proud of the fact that all our team 'work with you - and
not just for you', to produce a top class event. We have been providing Sound Systems and Services to some events constantly
for over 30 years without a break - we think that speaks volumes about the quality and reliability of our services.
The other division
of our business is The Barry Music Shop, whre we still believe in 'Good Old Fashioned Service'.
As well as keeping extensive stocks of Instruments such as Classical,
Acoustic, Bass & Electric Guitars, Banjos, Ukulele, Drums & Percussion, Violins, Keyboards, Harmonicas, Recorders,
Flutes, Clarinet, Saxophone and Digital Pianos we also stock a HUGE range of accessories for all Instruments! We also stocka
big range of Pro-Audio Equipment such as Amplifiers, Mixers, Speakers, Microphones, EFX & EQ Units, Stands, Leads &
Connectors.
We stock what is probably
the biggest range of ready made leads and connectors in South Wales. We also will manufacture bespoke leads especially for
you - and quite often 'while you wait'!
We are alo fortunate to have a Guitar Technician on our staff, who can advise you on the care of your guitar or who
can perform all types of repairs, setups and modifications to your valued guitar.
